While Dad worked at the court house Hannah and Kenna
explored Moundsville, WV. We found a museum and learned about the Indian Burial Mounds and enjoyed the dress display. Next time we may actually climb the Indian Mound.

We have discovered bowling in a big way. Matt and Hannah started at the Route 19 Lanes before Kenna arrived for good from Florida. Hannah's typical score was about 9. She can now bowl near 100 and her top score is 114. (We do not use bumpers.) Kenna occasionally gets the highest score for the day, but Matt is way ahead with total pins. We have a healthy competition going and take turns having a good day.
Fortunately bowling came up in conversation when Matt was getting his last haircut. We found out that at kidsbowlfree.com you can register and kids under 15 can bowl two free games everyday of the summer at participating bowling alleys. For a one time fee of $23.95 parents can register and up to four related adults can bowl each day all summer also. We are getting our monies worth. We all now own bowling shoes and who knows we may have to get matching bowling shirts.

Hannah is doing great. This is at our original Route 19. We are often the only bowlers. Before we got our own bowling shoes, when they saw us coming they would get our shoes out and turn a lane on. They even know which balls we prefer out of the hundreds they have. (Matt tried to buy the ball he likes to use, but sadly they said no. It might be someone elses favorite also.)

We went to lunch at "The Original Hot Dog Stand" in Pittsburgh on Hannah's last day of school. It is known as "The O". It is another food channel find. Or maybe this one was on the Hot Dog Show that was on PBS. The orders of fries are huge. The large order is a fry basket crammed full. We settled for a medium this time, although mom thought a small would be plenty.

The "O" is located in downtown Pittsburgh near the University of Pittsburgh.
