All of the snow was a bit overwhelming. It only makes sense that we would have the severest winter on record for our first winter here. There was more snowfall in February than in any full previous winter season.
It was wonderful when the sun returned. What a beautiful world.
Once there was a snowman. Our holiday snowman was buried by all the snow and we finally found him last week. The snow took a week or two to really melt once it got started. You can still find the occasional patch. It has been wonderful watching the world reemerge
While patches of snow could still be found Hannah discovered that flowers were beginning to bloom in our front yard.
Everyday a few more flowers push there way through and begin to bloom. They say we could have a few snow showers this coming week. It is hard to believe after the weather we've been having. The weatherman could be wrong.
