Last Saturday we went to see They Might Be Giants with some friends. The concert was at the Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh. This theater was the original Carnegie Hall before Carnegie Hall moved to New York City.
The Giants have a family show and and adult show. We went to the family show that was probably for a bit younger audience, but they put on a good show and we had fun. The Giants are the most audience friendly group I have ever seen. They encouraged flash photography, leave your cell phones on, record what you want, and please come on down and dance. A lot of their music can be downloaded for free.
We had the good fortune of sitting next to the confetti machine. I almost flew off the balcony the first time it went off. Hannah thought that was really funny.
Hannah is at that age where parents can be so embarrassing. Although no one in the theater was paying any attention, she was quite put out anytime we danced or sang along. There were some people who were embarrassing. We were not in that category. We did our best to have fun. Deal with it Hannah!

I've known about them for years and have never seen them in concert! You totally lucked out! Wish we could have been there too!
Nice posts, Kenna!! I loved the story about the computer! HAHA on Hannah being embarrassed!! Next time you make that mozzerella, put it in some cheesecloth right away and twist it tight so it can form a ball. At least, that's the way Tyler Florence does it...HA!!!
