In late June friends invited us to an Orioles game in Baltimore. It was my first visit to the city other than a brief lay over in the airport. I don't think our first visit to Oriole Park at Camden Yards and Birdland could have been any better.
We were on the top row of our section, which was just perfect for an evening late in June. There was just enough fresh air and cool breeze to make the evening quite enjoyable. We were able to take in our own snacks and treats so we had plenty of goodies to share.
Our friends the Peiffers. (They both served missions in Austria so I'm having a chance to practice my German.)
We may not have made it onto the CoverGirl Kiss Cam, but any excuse to smooch!
P.S. We were forwarned that during "The Star Spangled Banner" all of the Orioles fans really emphasize the "Oh" for Orioles when the national anthem is sung. It was pretty cool to hear!
