Last night we enjoyed the Washington County Fair. We enjoyed it even more because some of our friends won ribbons and did very well in the 4-H competitions. We are thinking we might need to enter something next year.
Our admission included unlimited rides on the midway. Sounds good, but it was a bit yucky. Our bottoms got wet on the first ride and we had to wonder for the next hour what exactly we sat in. We did enjoy the ferris wheel and the the view. Of course we had to try some fair food and it was fun just to watch other people. All in all it was a nice evening.
Hannah's friend Allie won two best in shows and a first place.
Leah (who helped with my birthday cake) won first for her cake which was a basket of flowers. It took a lot of time, but was worth the effort.
Twins I hope! We saw this goat at the Petting Zoo. Ouch!
