A few weeks ago the youth in our stake put on a musical fireside focused on Christ. Each ward prepared musical numbers to share and then they combined for a stake youth choir for several songs. It reminded me of the Zion's Youth Choir our stake had in Florida. The music was amazing. We have some amazing youth in the church. I appreciate the leaders who take the time and give our youth wonderful opportunities to use their talents, feel the spirit and allow their testimonies to grow.
Before the activity they had an open house with Christ centered displays set up in different rooms throughout the stake center. Our ward had a room of nativities from throughout the world. We had the opportunity to take two older sisters from or ward who probably wouldn't have made it other wise. I'm grateful for such experiences.
