Happy 25th

December 1st we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. It seems impossible. We're not old enough to have been married 25 years. The first fell on Tuesday and we had planned to spend a nice day just the two of us while Hannah was in school. The Cannon-Mac school district had a different plan. No school. They said it was a teacher work day, but we now know it had more to do with the opening of hunting season.

Our day may not have gone as planned, and as often happens in life it was a bit better. Hannah and her friend Leah started us off with a surprise breakfast. Everything was great. (The toast was a bit dry since they couldn't find the spreadable butter and didn't want to mess with the solid butter and now that I think about it, I did do the dishes later. What's up with that?)

We finally found Isaly's which is where the Klondike bar was invented and had a great lunch.

We spent awhile in the Carnegie Science Center with only the back up power on. They have a huge miniature train display that includes a lot of local sights. There's Isaly's in Mister Rogers Neighborhood.

We had fun in the Robots area once the power returned and enjoyed the Christmas laser light show. Our museum passes allow us to take up to eight guests. You are all invited!

What a beautiful day!
